Default Idle RPM too high

What is common for the the RPM needle @ Idle...? It seems that my friends' (non Kawasaki bikes) idle around 2000RPM ... my ZZR600 is idling around 3000. Is that normal. 3000 just seems a bit too high. If so, is it possible to adjust??? Thanks!

3000 rpms is abit high for idle. When you get your manual that may be of help. A simple choke adjustment may be in order as well.

My 2 1100's idle at around 1000 rpm, actually alittle below that.
