Regarding Your tire selection ::::: I emailed you but here it goes again......Here are some seguestions:::: If you state that you are doing commute and occational street and canyon riding the best picks are a street tire .... You are going to need a tire that gives good tire life and is still gives grip.......I recommend the bridgestone 020 for its life span and confidence it provides....Michelin is also a good tire especially the pilot power not the race but the street version....always remember that tire pressure is very important with either tire for the bstone 020 be at front psi of 32 and rear of 33 for street use and canyon riding front psi 29 and rear psi 30...Michelin the same for street but for canyon its very different front use 28 psi and rear use 27psi...good luck

Personally I don't like the Bridgestone 020. They came stock on both of my ZRX's and were the worst handling tire I've had. Mileage was ok but they didn't enstil confidence in turns for me.
I used to get about 5k out of a rear Dunlop D208. Can comment on the Qualifier, but I've heard good things about them. I've been running Metlzer M3's on my REX's now. I've got about 2.5k on one set and 1.5k on another. They handle great and seem to be wearing pretty evenly. I put about 900 miles on one of my bikes in the GA mountains in Sept and they stuck like glue. Even in the rain.
Oh yea, most of my riding is commuting but I like to hit the twisties, too.

Just a statement here on what I am using for a street tire. I have the dunlop Q's on the liter ride. They performed really well for twisties, fast heat ups and straightline spurts. 3500 miles on them and are showing a flat center now after my last trip of 1200 miles.

a set of carozzeria rims and some stickies on them for play and a set of pilot powers on the street rims. i guess i dont care about buying tires, you never know when youll come up to a sweet corner and want to rail it. im happy with the pilot powers tho. good tire. i forget where i bought them at but got a hell of a deal on them. its posted somewhere on the boards.
