I have a question about oil

I have a question about oil
For a motorcycle if you put in to much oil in your bike for instance would the bike some kind of way leak the remaining oil back out. The reason being my bike is leaking oil whenever it is running and stops when i turn it off. The catch is the oil glass is still full. So i took the bike to the dealership and they said the oil was to full and that some oil made its way to some type of box i think the air box if iam not mistaken. So i deceided to come to my people and ask my family here at the family. What do you all make of this THANKS IN ADVANCE

That is definatley possible. You could have a loss of horsepower also. Running with too much oil could be just as bad as running with too little. Easy enough to fix tho. Just drain some out, or siphon some out.

Too much pressure and seals will start to go out. So how full is the sight glass? So sounds like the breather was transferring the extra pressure/oil into the airbox. Makes sense to me.

i know on my bike i filled it up too much with oil, eye glass is stained from the inside, it was leaking out of my air box. Cuz there is a breather tube that connect the air box to the crank case, but yah im sure all you did was over fill it. just drain some of the oil out. Hell all i did was let it leak out on its own LOL. But dont do that

luckly my air box was warped and my carb boots are warped so my air filter doesnt even go through to my carbs LOL
