Default Homda vs kawasaki....

DOES HONDA REALLY MAKE A BETTER MOTORCYCLE MOTOR THEN ALL THE OTHER MFGS?
We all know about Honda motors and how great they are...but as far as bikes how do they add up???

i think thats just opinion.. soeme ppl are haters, some, have justifyable reasons to like or dislike a particular brand.

my one buddy was a diehard honda fan, adiment on nothing being on the streets except the winged wonders. that is, til i talked him into considering stepping off his jetted and sprocketed CBR900RR (very fast, trut me..) to a 10-R.

well, now every piece of apparrel he owns dawns the kawi logo!! lol

i F with him all the time about comin over to the dark side.. lol he LOVES the 10 tho.
(and this 10-R is the fastest thing i've ridden next to a 241hp busa)

i've ridden ALOT of bikes. i can't honestly say that i've liked every one of them..

i kinda like suzuki.. i do, but their ergonomics is conflicting to my riding style and taste.. some ppl like to rev the **** out of their motor to get any power, and some ppl like alot of wieght on their wrists i guess.. that is the epitome of riding a new 600 gixxer. NO low end grunt.. light and flickable, wheelie monster on the streets, but i like a lil meat in the powerband south of 6 grand..lol

i liked riding the CBRs.. never had any issues, always felt conident and planted.. same with the yamahas.. used to steal my boy's 03 R6 all the time for scrapes in the WV twisties..

it seems like most of the newer, smaller bikes are so damn close in weight and handling, that only the motor and their power is what sets em apart now..

for the amought of technology, honda doesn't seem to be ahead of the competition for the money...

for less cash, you can get a VERY hi-tech R6, or , you can grab a 6-R almost as much gizmos and stuff.. (save for the Y-CCi and whatnot) or you can grab a gixxer and play with the A,B, and C modes.

do i like honda? oh hell yes. i love honda bikes. my fiddy and 100 are hondas. my quad was.. i'd rock a 600RR. they're fun little bikes. so is the 1000RR

now, flame all ya want, but i'm the most brutally honest, truthful, straight, no bullshyte m.f'er you'll ever meet in your life. why would i lie?

my numero uno is kawi. i own 3 of em. i'll own more in the future. i just like that they're easy to work on, UBER predictable when they DO need it.. (like the 7 i own.. they ALL have the same problems, so its not like its hard to find a cure for the ailments)

the only thing i dont really like about honda is data access in the ECU. the kawi and the yami bikes is stupid easy, which is what i like, and my customers like it when its reflected in time on their bill.

i HATE working on a gixxer, cuz you need to install some dumb little switch in the harness to get the ECU into OBD mode. the yamahas and kawi? hold some buttons down!
i honestly don't even know how to get into the ECU codes on a honda, to tell ya the truth.. mybe i'm just jumping the gun? maybe they ARE hard to access, requiring a similar stunt the zooks pull..

but ya.. thats MY honest opinion.. honda makes a fairly equal bike. all in taste, bro..
