Default Hiss from gas cap after riding

I have a 2008 Vulcan 2000 Classic LT. It was in storage for 2 years. I had it serviced by a Kawasaki shop and it runs great. The only issue I have is after I ride I hear a hissing sound from the gas cap. It is almost like it is over pressurized. If I open the cap it stops and doesn't do it again. Could I have a bad gasket on my gas cap? Any idea what could cause this?

No, the vent is working fine - that's the hissing. My 550 Zephyr does it, sometimes the KLXs do it too. When the engine heat hits the tank, vapors will expand - hiiisssss.
