My boy has a 1999 zx-7r....he is telling me that after 100mph (on a legal track..) lol...that it seems that his rev eliminator kicks in.....know the bike goes faster what could be his problem

id go strongly with the guess that its governd by computer. i dunno how to get rid of/upgrade that as i dont deal with streetbikes (yet) but id put $ on the fact that someone here can give you step by step instuctions on it.

have any more specifics on the situation ? ie gear, speed, added accessories, pipe that kind of stuff. if you know what jetting hes running as well.

A weak alternator at high revs acts just like the rev limiter.

edit: now that I do not get asp errors,
Sounds like not enough juice to fire at those r's. Like a connection, alternator or coil issue. etc.
