Default Help picking a sissy bar

I'm looking to get a sissy bar for my 1982 kz750 and I don't know how to really pick it. I saw one on ebay motors specifically for my make/model/year but I was just wondering if there is a way to tell which ones would fit.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

(No, I won't accept the temptation to discuss the relative merits of sissy bars. I'm hoping you're just "restoring to OE" condition and not going for the Easy Rider thing...)
I would inquire about dimensions; bolt hole spacing, rail width, rail diameter, etc. If there is/are part numbers, use them as a reference.

ill say it was'nt it a gieco commercial with bad azz bikers crying at a "sissy bar"?

word of warning: sissy bars do break. i almost lost a passenger off my first bike with a sissy bar that the welds gave away.
