Hi Guys,

I feel like a complete tool for this but today I put a new battery in my bike. I have a clear hose attached to the fuel tank that I'm pretty sure doesn't connect to anything. But I've also got a black hose that looked like it didn't connect to anything either and just dangled under my seat. Both hoses crossed over the top of the battery. Does this sound right? Do they really not attach to anything?

You should have a breather hose (blue) and a Fuel Return Hose (Red) which runs into the separator cannister on CA models.

I probably would not worry about the hoses except to route them away from any electrical. That is if the bike is running ok for you.
