Don't forget about the sprockets. I once made the mistake of changeing only the chain and not the sprockets.
It wound up destroying the new chain in less than 1000 miles.

Answering your questions, Well you see, as i told you Ecuador becomes the Navy port most closest to Asia of South América, so Many thigns come here first to them distribute to other countries South countries.. Unfurtantetly many Chineese stuff comes also ,i have nothing against china but their stuff is very bad made.. very cheap but very bad.. so here we have many china BAD BAD BIKES that uses most of Low economic people (brands likes ying xiang, gallardi, etc.) , but FORTUNATELY we have a lot of things comming from Japan.. So in that case we have very very good things but a lot more expensive, like Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki etc.

TO be honest the most ppl here drive MOTOCROSS BIKES (I GUESS U CALLED DIRT BIKES), they ar very good at it.. (might be because of the geography).. i dont know if you have heard about Martin Dávalos , hes from Ecuador actullay from Quito my city.. After that, there are the sport bikers.. like me .. we are many many but i dont belong to any group (they seems to me they talk too much and do nothing! , they have beautifull brand new bikes.. and theres no passion if u havent at LEAST changed the battery yourself!.. agree with me??.. any way.. so after All there are the tourism bikers.. there are a few.
