Gpz750r1 tank options?

Just wondered if anyone knows if a GT550 tank will slot onto my82 gpz750r1? Cant buy original one for love nor money,is one on ebay but looks worse underneath than mine,its the sides on mine,when you put petrol in the paint bubbled last time(heeeeeelp!)There is a gt550 one on ebay that dont look too bad so hopin its a swap that can be done? used to have a GT750 - check the badges on the tank (assuming you have the screw on badge) They can collect water and cause rust behind - worth seating on a suitable base - something like bathroom clear silicone should do the trick.
(and if you live somewhere damp - worth checking the various electrical connectors for corrosion)

Got it back to bare metal n covered in light oil.Badge recesses dont seem bad but will rust cure and silicone them.May have to swap fuel taps over as mine had two outlets...main and reserve.This one seems to have three stubs.
