I used the Castrol 10-40 in both of my ninja's for break in.

 

w00t! thanks for the help, just changed my oil, used gastrol 10w40, and everythings looking good. forgot to put that stupid metal washer ring back in, but i heard its okay..... right.....? also when is the next time i should change it im at about 60 miles now, and i bring the bike in for the first check up at 600

 

The ring is a washer, and should be put on to keep the hot oil in. I lost one on a truck, and that pig leaked for 15 minuets after I parked it until I put another brass washer on it.
