Gas in my oil?

It is probably getting sucked in through the crankcase ventilation tube. The gas is back flowing into the air box where the crankcase tube islocated.

the crank case tube is below the carb connection a good 4-5 inches. also took that tube off and ran it for 10 mins or so and nothing came dripping out. so dont think it wuld be that. appreciate all the help guys.

I'm not real sure....But, lol, if it was mine. I'd pull the carbs and do a manual inspection of the floats, needles, seats, etc.... I bet when you dumped her, it has summin a little outta wack in the carbs, which would PROBABLY be easliy identifiable upon manual visual inspection.

yup, cable adjustment, floats, seats and synch can be out of wack.

didnt ride it and overnite it showed the oil above the top.took some out agin 2day but did not replace it entirely. yet thatoil has no scent of gas.
Since it didn't smell like oil after it filled up, check your other fluids as well. if you had serious internal damage you could get coolant in the oil as well. I'm willing to bet its the carbs, but doesnt hurt to check.
