you're right on the 46MM, and make very sure the seal is right.. if its aftermarket, ensure its the right i.d. and o.d.

there outta be a how to from me in here somewhere on fork seals if you've never done em.. if not, sent me a message and i'll post one up.. (at least for standard sportbike inverted forks..)

welcome to KF!!!

I say stick with the oem seals. What caused the originals to start leaking by the way?

i dont really know, i bought the bike this summer with the fork leaking, nd now i need to fix it so im trying to get the info before i do the project.... the reason i asked about the size was because i was on a website that had the tool for seating the fork seals and they had one that was 48mm yet they listed it as for all kx250's... nd i new it wasnt correct, so i figured id ask ...thanks for all your help and yea im going to look for that post when i do the seals .... thanks everyone for your help....

well MSR seals would come in the right size if it stated the year and model of the bike they were designed for correct ?

Check the legs to make sure there are no nics/dings. Hate to see ya place new seals and get them to leak again in a couple of rides.
