fan is not running aty all
#11
i put one in line, parallel to my temp switch on mine.. use a relay and a tiny switch to actuate said relay tho, cuz i can't keep things simple.. mounted the switch to a carbon fiber plate i made thats now bolted to the dash, where that little accent ring around the tach resides..
like i said, i can't keep anything simple, and wired up an LED and everything to it, but you can use anything and put the switch anywhere...if its rated for it..
make sure you use a switch rated for 10A. the fan only pulls about 3-5A when running, but at startup, pulls 11A.. i just like to oversize anything electrical. ESPECIALLLY on these bikes..
inspect the fan blades.. when the bikes get hot, the heat melts the blades and the fan will never work, and then they'll pop the fuse and REALLY never work..lol
