Default exhaust dripping oil/low bottom end

ok the thing is iv had my 1990 kx125 for about five months and the first thing i noticed is the lack of bottom end power.taking off is slow unless i ride out the cluth, wheelies are prety much only posible in the high rpm range ect.iv been told im wanting to much from a 125 but also that it seems dogish so im not sure.also im seeing oil splatters on the exhaust pipe end and my rim and breakes.its got plenty of power in the mid and top range.im mixing 32:1 with high octane gas.ive tried adjusting the carb and idle skrew and it made no changes..any help or input would be apretiated.thanks

I agree with you expecting a bit much at low rpm. Also the power valves may need cleaned. If they stick open the bike will lose bottom end power... what little bottom end power a 125 MXer has. You may want to get an owner's manual for the bike if you don't have one. MX manuals are far more detailed than any regular motorcycle owner's manual. It is just short of a shop manual.

I agree with the previous post, where is your oil at. Seepage from the head pipe and the joint in the pipe are a bit normal for a two stroke, but from what you're saying do you have a blown fork seal?

What does your spark plug tell you? Agree^ there will be some oil splatter with a 2-smoker, but if you're deposit is caramel brown, you're good. If your plug is an oily brown, you're probably running a tick rich or your plug is too cold. (Just be careful if you go jumping heat range on your plug. And, plugs don't necessarily "cross reference" accurately in spark temperature. For example, an NGK ### does not EXACTLY cross with a Champion --or whatever. Don't rely on the "chart.") Find a plug that works, and buy a box of them.

You know how they say "follow the money"? Follow the oil... it should be readily apparent where it is coming from. Then we may be of more help.

ok well pertaining to the oil.it is dripping/spraying out of the exhaust pipe hole.i can see spots of black oil on the backbreaks and right side of the rim and swinger.i plan to check the powervalve soon.should i get a gasket first?also how should i go about cleaning it?and yes the plug is dark.ive been trying to find a good mixture because the specs say 32:1 and the previous owner mixed at 50:1 so im not to sure on that one.

That bike should run like a NGK BR9ES...Try this and some Klotz R50 with 91 octane..or you could re-ring it!!!!!
