Default Eliminator oil leak

I bought a 1996 kawasaki eliminator from a friend to practice riding on. The bike has been riding great, except for today when i started her up (on choke for a little bit) i went inside to grab my sunglasses. When i came back outside there was oil on my garage floor. I traced it back to what looked like a breather hose or some kind of exhaust hose with a small diameter. It has never done this before, up untill today. The bike has been sitting for a week. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong and what to do

FYI the bike is a 600. Another update. Keeping an eye on the oil level i ran the bike for a while. It no longer leaks excessive oil, but it does drip a couple drops while running. The oil level at first looked low while the bike ran, but then after a couple minutes it was at the upper level. I know it needs an oil change, but can the problem be oil filter related? as in maybe it's reached it's max life and the oil is accumulating? I'm not a mechanic, I'm just an ideator. Help would be greatly appreciated

hmm, as you mentioned, time for some maintenance and do some checking. Change the oil and filter. (Sounds abit high). Change out the air filter and clean the possible oil residue out of the air box.

sorry for the late reply, school is killing me. That definately was it. Replaced the oil filter, oil, and air filter (cleaned out the box) and there hasn't been a drop since. Thanks for the advice
