Eliminator 125 stuck at 65
I just bought a '92 Eliminator 125 as my first bike and noticed even opened up full she only gets to 65; if I keep her opened up she may slowly creep up a few miles, but I'm reluctant to keep the throttle at full for extended times. Now, this isn't a problem in my area...but in a few months I'm planning on a road trip where a good portion of the road is 75mph. I'm just wondering what, if anything, I can do to get the speed up. Any suggestions?

Even at 65mph, that lil 125 is doing all it can do with the stock gearing. You can alter the gearing some, but your in town experience will suffer. Is this a belt drive or a chain?
edit: go up 1 tooth on the front sprocket maybe for your road trip. You will have to learn your in town aspects with the gearing change. Enjoy the ride time.
