Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but I have this wire thing that doesnt connect to anything on the bike but the terminals on the battery. I'm just curios what it do, ya know?

That is a hard wire connection w/fuse holder into the battery so you can plug in a battery maintainer/charger. That way you don't have to take off the side plate every time you want to top off the battery.
