electric start in gear

need help
2004 klx 250 have to start in neutral giving me the ****s. want to be able to start in gear with clutch in . can anyone help please ?

Have you jumped the neutral switch?

Not sure on the klx, but is the sidestand up when you use the clutch and place the bike in gear? My EX will do the same as your example if the sidestand is down.
