Couple of maintainance questions about EX250s
I'm new to motorcycles. I've worked on cars for a good while now though, I know all the theories of internal combustion and what not. What I was wondering is what kind of oil, coolant, and other fluids a '99 EX250 Ninja requires. Also if you could give me an idea about the system capacities and what not I'd much appreciate it.

Did you get the owners manual for the bike too? If not I would say either to go to a Kawasaki Dealer or look on eBay for the manual. I know you should be able to find them cheap on eBay.

Try this link out, it might help. I came across it a while ago on a local forum that I'm on a lot. If I come across anything else that I think you'd be interested in, I'll pass it on! http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~tenoq/GPX250Manual.pdf

coolant is coolant in a bike I don't know of any bike using anything special like dexcool GM coolant.
but oil is different... you have a wet clutch witch means that the trans oil and the engine oil is the same and run together.. there should be a sticker some were on the bike stating what types of oils that is compatible with your bike.. if not call your local dealer and see what is recommended
