Default Busted up 96 ZX6

Hello Kawi family,

Last night my daughter was practicing in a parking lot, getting used to my 96 and she dropped it (well, more than dropped it) I know it's old, but it was looking pretty damn good until last night.

I got it home with a broken windshield (snapped some of the plastic off with it), right foot peg/brake assembly broken and hanging down, seriously effed up right side fairing, and the part in front of my clutch cover, scratched so badly it was leaking oil. (not sure yet what that part is). The bottom of the clutch cover (think that's the correct term) was also scratched.

I'm not sure what all I am going to need to do to get it running again. Body work can wait. I'm new to motorcycling and haven't done much to the cycle. I just changed out clutch levers, oil, chain and spark plugs. So i'm a total noob, but anxious to learn. Would love to hear ideas/opinions from you seasoned folk.

Thanks in advance,
Michelle

Easy fixes. Late response, but hey? The leaky side cover is the big item usually. welcome to KF and someone else riding your ride.
