Default Bike update

Ok i just went home for lunch and checked on my bike after reading some posts on the forum. I noticed there is a black tube on the right side of the bike that isnt connected to anything and it looks like it leaked onto the inside of the right fairing. Not sure what its for but it looks like it runs up somewhere under the seat. I didnt have much time to investigate or try and see if anything comes out when i try and start the bike because my battery is finishing charging. And on the left side there is a tube that has what looks like to be one of those light plastic filters on it going to nothing as well but this has a plug in it so I am wondering if that is the vaccum tube? Tonight when i get home i will put the battery in and try to start it and see if anything comes out of that tube that goes to nowhere. When i try and start it it sounds like it isnt getting gas, and i messed with the reserve switch the other day but i put it to on yesterday and it still didnt start, all i did was drain the battery. Any ideas? Thanks and sorry for the long post its just that i just got the bike and im kind of anxious to ride it more.

the one on the right should be the gas tank overflow/vent tube
the one on the left with the plastic container on the end is an oil/water drain line from the aircleaner housing

ok thanks, so it doesnt seem like either of them would be my problem? Im trying to figure out how to remove the fuel line from the carb to see if it is getting gas. I think i have the right line it just seems hard to pull out and i dont wanna mess anything up, I wish it would run for a min so i can take it to the shop a few blocks away.
