Battery
Hey Guys Im new to this Forum
Do to the Cold weather My 05 Kawa ZX-R 636’s Battery is dead as disco!... I’ve only had this bike for 5 months, and tried to remove the battery but I couldn’t get it out it was so buried in the bike. Does anyone know a better way to remove the battery so I can charge it?
It was so easy to remove the battery from my Brothers 06 CBR.
Thanks.

RE: Battery
Either way you will probably have to remove the gas tank or at least loosen it. Once you get it out of there I recommend you get some battery tenders or something so that you can easily hook them up to charge the battery in the future.

RE: Battery
You need to add a battery tender plug on it and just plug it in once a week for a couple of hours or less, after all it will let you know when its done. I know our bikes are different but the battery maintenance is the same. Here are a couple of pictures of where I added 12 cigarette plugs on my wife's and my bike, it accomplishes 3 things. 1) it allows me to charge a cell phone or power a GPS if I ever get one, 2) it allows me to plug in my battery maintainer without having to take off any cover and 3) it also lets me jump start the bikes either way if one gets low, especially if we are out on the trail and someone forgets to turn off the key. With only electric start I wanted to lessen the chances of being stranded somewhere.
