Default Bad oil pan/cooling?

So the kid who sits next to me in e-business does a lot of work with street bikes in general, and sells parts for every make. Anyways, he said that kawasaki's generally have issues with holes forming in part of the oil system (im not positive but i think he said the pan). so i was looking for insight from other riders. cuz id rather not get into a bike thats going to have an expensive problem. but if its inexpensive to fix thats fine.

thanks

hhhmmm. I haven't heard that one. I have heard that kawi's have a shallow oil pick up in the pan, so if you do a lot of wheelies, stunting, etc, then that could lead to a problem of oil starvation. Maybe someone else has some more insight.

The pan is a thin wall, which, under the right conditions (lowering too low, dropping wheelies too hard, etc...) you will develop a weak spot from banging the ground, which, will eventually crack.
For normal riding, there is not issue.
