Any helpful advice to removing wheel bearings?
I shouldn't be having such a hard time here![:@] I'm replacing the front wheel bearings on my KZ, and the middle hub spacer makes it nearly impossible to get the punch on any surface area within the inner race. I can only move that spacer enough for about 15 thousandths of an inch if even that of surface area on the bearing itself. I keep having to grind the punch tip flat over and over because it keeps rounding off the edges. Does anyone have a handy secret to removing hard to remove bearings???
If it comes down to it, I may just destroy the bearing to get it out.
