I would just take off the stock one and use it, they can get expensive to buy, plus you shouldn't have that many mile on the old one for it to be bad. Post some pics of your bike soon, I want to see it as I'm thinking about this exhaust too!!

I thought that was what you were talking about in the begining but wasn't too sure. That is a type of wastegate if you will, it limits the amount of exhaust back pressure and helps with the torque of the motor. You should've gotten a new arm to put on the motor, I would have thought the original cables are long enough to be re-routed to the new location. I would call Akrapovic and talk to a technician for sure to see if your suppose to get different cable to make the system work. I did notice that they placed it farther forward then what was on the stock pipe.

For slip-on exhaust, do you still have to worry about the o2 sensor? I know the full system you do. And the Two Brothers slip-on exhaust, the o2 sensor comes with the pipe. Or does it depend on the maker of the pipe?
