Default 93 500r help

Irecently replaced my chain with a x-ring, o-ring,D.I.D. chain and sunsproket. I went 1 tooth down in the front and kept the backfactory. ButI was wondering if anyone knows how to align the rear tire. The marks on the swing arm seem to be inacurate, as of now I am measuring from the swing arm tothe wheel on both sides and adjusting them equal distances. Also I needa tork spec for the rear wheel nut and bolt. Any other suggestions arewelcome.

Welcome to the forums.......

The markings are not a good guide to use to align...

Here's a link to an alignment tool. You could buy one, or make one yourself. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motor...spagenameZWDVW

The marks are close but no cigar. As in close enough for most people.

View the chain as you rotated the wheel, make sure that the sprockets are centered in the chain during the rotation.
