92 ninja ZX6D stalling
Hi there,
I bought a 92 Ninja ZX6 2 months ago, It has 50000kms on it. The bike had been sitting for 2 years so I did an oil change, new spark plugs, new clutch and a bunch of other stuff not relevant to this problem. So I rode the bike for about a month (it rode great.) Then one day I tried to start it and it just kept turning over, until it would backfire. After about 4 backfires, I realized I had to pull the carbs and clean them. While I was pulling the carbs off, I took off the airfilter housing and saw that the airfilter was in pieces, and that some small bits had been sucked through the carbs. (the filter was fine when I first got the bike running but I guess it was old.) Anyways so I overhauled the carbs and it didnt look like there was much airfilter pieces that went through. I bought a new airfilter and put the bike back together and it started fine; but now when I try and ride it (I have only ridden it once) It seems to flood itself and stall, especially at low rpm's. It sounds a little off, and has less power than it normally does. I dont really know what else to think unless somethings really bad in the engine.
Thanks
