As many of you know i just got my bike back yesterday from its custom paint job. Well i went out riding today and let the bike warm up and i gunned it. Well all of a sudden my rpm gauge Drop down to nothing and the bike sounded like crap. It is running but its not running right. if i dont give it gas it stalls. HELP I give it gas and the rpms still stay down at 0 HELP

 

Check all of your electrical connections, making sure you did not pinch or loosen them while putting the bodywork on. Fuel lines can get pinched along with vacuum hoses. So just check things out.

but heres the thing it worked all day long on thursday and all of a sudden it happens thats waht i dont get

 

hmm, sounds like a fuel blockage to me at the moment now.

 

Well ill check everything when i get a chance on wed. i did change out my back taillights on the day it happend. I cahnged from the stock bulky ones to some nice led's, would that have anything to do with it?

 

on the light change out, you splice into the harness?

 

they were just wires that connected to the old ones and i cut them off from the old ones and replaced them
