My Er6n starts running rough after about 5 months after a dealer visit. I clean the air filter but it already looks clean, and it doesn't change anything. It still runs rough and kinda sputters when i try and hold it steady at some speed. Ya know, a few back fires here and there. So my question is, what does the dealer do when you take it in for a tune up?

How do I make it purr like a kitten again? change the plugs? is it something they do with the fuel injection?

Get a manual. That will tell you what your dealer or even you should be doing to YOUR bike. I would think that you may have some bad gas and some plugging issues in the carbs as a first thought. (kinda sputters when i try and hold it steady at some speed)

that is not to blame your dealer, but just something that you need to remember to check and understand. Try some seafoam and see if that helps after time. Good luck with the fix.
