Operating temp for that bike is 198 to 205 (yea it's hot).
Theres no a/f adjustment (fuel injected).
A fine balance of in pressure & out pressure makes it run correctly,(aka: factory tuned, stock, etc..) until.... You change something. Now, if the change was done properly, we obviously wouldn't be here.
You have a slip on (brand doesn't matter). You now changed the out pressure. Meaning the exhaust is exiting the cylinder faster than it's going in. Power commander extends the injector pulse and changes the plug firing a **** hair (like .0664 milliseconds). Now you have successfully tuned your bike to accommodate an after market exhaust, by altering the in pressure. Anything (and i mean anything) somebody tries to sell you on beyond this, is makin' a buck off you. Period... so sell the retard (retard) on ebay and have a P/C installed. Yes I said INSTALLED!!! Don't do it yourself, 'cause the internet info alone will make you play with it constantly, and eventually buy something else because your convinced you need it. Let the technicians do it. It's quick, simple, and does not require a dyno.
Oh yea...back to operating temp. Certain wires in a harness carry electricity at very specific milli-amp loads, depending on how much resistance a sensor puts on the primary power coming in. And the computer reads that value to know what the bike is doing. the retard (never get tired of that word in this business) is giving, or getting, the wrong value and making the appropriate changes based on bad info...
Ditch the retard get the power commander, then we'll discuss the power valve in the exhaust pipe. (on some first out zx-10s in 06, the valve was used, like the zx-6 has, and later removed and a different muffler design was implemented. Hopfully, the technician that "installs" the P/C can handle it...
At my shop, that'll cost you like $65.
