I'm new to these forums as I am new to Kawasaki. Was a Honda rider until I was in the market for something different came across a 2006 ZX-6R. Problem is bike over heats easily and spews coolant from water pump supply hose on the bittom . I flushed the system and reseated the hose and refilled system with water/water wetter and about 15% antifreeze . This seemed to fix the problem for about 20 minutes and spewed coolant on my left boot again but the coolant is no longer coming from the hose and no sign of where is coming from. Water pump is in great working order haven't changed the thermostat but also not getting any coolant going to over flow reservoir

First thought is a bad water pump plastic impeller.

 

Do a leak-down check. If not the impeller (as Dragone suggests^) might be looking at a head gasket. Not a huge deal; good learning experience....
