2000 zx6r won't go
Ok this is my second post. I need some help with my 2000 zx6r. after sitting for the winter I got on my bike to ride up the street and it won't go over about 35mph. Yes I put fuel stabilzer in over the winter. It seemed to be speed related so I disconnected the speed sensor and rode it and it did the exact same thing. Can the bike tell its moving based off of the nuetral switch and rpm readings???? After that didn't work I put new plugs in it and new fuel. It is still doing the same thing. Does anyone have any other ideas? My next thought is to replace the IC Ignitor but its kind of pricy and i'm not sure if it will fix it. Please help.

RE: 2000 zx6r won't go
OK I Fixed my bike today. In case anyone was wondering. I unplugged the computer to check all the pins and they looked good. I figured I would ride it up the street just to check some other things like if my throttle position made any difference. Well I guess reseating the computer connector did the trick. Ran perfect.

hmm.. weird.. glad ya got it fixed tho..
sadly, your bike isn't THAT smart to know knen it's moving..lol (don't feel bad.. by mike doesn't even have a TPS..)
the newer 32bit ECU's do, however.. (well, the 16 bit does as well..) thus the gear input to it.. it can tell what gear you're in, and based on that and the TPS reading, will meter the correct fuel for the given acceleration time the piston will see per gear.
theres your digital microcontroller lesson for the day!
