Does it shut off when put in gear? If so check the side stand switch if it has one. My KLX had a sticky side stand switch. I took it off.

Generally it is the slow circuit in the carb or a cracked boot. What year do you have?

Hey dj, just hoping I can catch your eye sent you an email.

For some reason Share It would not take my aol email for delivery and I used a secondary one but I must have messed it up as nothing has come. Can you check your 'support' email, I sent the particulars there.

Then you can delete this topic, thanks ;- just trying to increase my odds at catching you over the weekend

Sounds like it is lacking in fuel, maybe float height, maybe the fuel filter clogged (it's inside the tank), fuel line clogged?

Either that or lack of spark. Could be enough spark to get it going but not enough when the load comes on.

Compression should be approx 160 - 180 lbs/sq inch

Is the rotary disk valve ok?
