Hello all, have some electrical problems. Just picked up an 80 kx 250, had the electronics abused bad and the igniter was missing. I had to redo the connections on the magneto, can anyone tell me what colour wire goes where?

How many wires are going to the magneto? I do not have a kx 250 manual, but my '85 kx 80 manual shows BLK/Red being your stop button, White/Green, White/Red, Black/Yellow going to the CDI unit.

 

Mine has a total of 6 wires coming from it. 2 From the uncovered coil, 4 from the wrapped coil. The jug says 1980 but the stator seems like an 82\83 model
