Default 1972 f6

ok i thought that i cleaned the carbs pretty good but, i didnt the idle fuel pick up tube was not getting fuel.. got it not bike runs almost perfect.. hopefully i have only two more issues. 1) loss of power at wot.. and a leaking **** valve. will it be a problem if i bypass the valve and simply run a new fuel line to the carb??

I would not bypass the petcock/valve. Unless it was strictly for racing and you drained the fuel system afterwards because of the race gas.
