hi guys, just got my 636 few months ago and non-cut frame slider last week. i'm new for bike. my question: for right side: do i need to take fairing off? i don't know how to unscrew the bolt. i tried unscrew the top using six-side screw driver, it does not work. should i unscrew sth else? for left side: to take the fairing off, can i only take the middle piece off or need to take bottom or upper piece off too? Thanks!!

 

first off welcome to the kf....as far as the right side you need to loosen the big nut over the bolt....try a flat head screw driver and a hammer and just tap it loose a bit then the bolt should be able to come out....and the left side you can get away with taking just the middle one off but it will be easier to take off the the bottom left half as well......any other questions just ask lots of good people on here to help you out
