Default 05'636 whining

Ok I removed my power comander and bike started. Now That I got that issue solved, I put on a vortex rear sprocket and new chain. On the way home I noticed a whining or screeching noise coming from bike. Have not pin pointed if noise is related or not yet. Cant tell if comming from front or back of bike. Any suggestions would be appriciated. Starts to screech at about 40-45 mph. 1rst and second no screech. starts at high rpms in third then fourth so on and so on. When I pull in clutch noise goes away. When I hit the throttle noise picks up. bike has 12,700 miles

You answered you own question, it's clutch related. You didn't over tighten your chain did you?
