01' ZX9 jet kit question? Which one?
So I have an 01' zx9r with 5400 miles. I just finished making it mine( i bought last year). Undertail, l.e.d.s, new tires, I also put on a full Hindle high mount system. I started reading a lot of stuff on web about the " flat spot " between 5- 7000 rpm. I am Having trouble deciding on a jet that will work for a 4-2-1 system. Has anybody done this mod and give me some insight on which one to go with? I have heard different theories from different people hopeing to get the right one.
Thanks

You'll waste an awful lot of time guessing. Those of us who've had bikes for a long time usually have a tin ful of jets so we can afford to play around getting it right. Otherwise it's cheaper in the long run, and certainly a lot less hassle, paying to get it set up properly on a dyno.
Ignore what you've read on the web. If you can't feel the flat spot yourself - if it's really there - you'll never get it right. There's only one correct jet for any particular bike and either an experienced mech or a dyno run is the only way to be sure that you've got it right. Theories are just that - theories - when it comes to jetting carbs.

Welcome to KF.
As mentioned, every ride is going to be different and needs that fine tuning to make it yours in the end. Good luck with this since adjustments may take a few months if you tune the carbs for that day.
