Default Z1's?

Found 2 Z1's, 2 Z1 engines, a 72 H2, a 75 H1, a KZ650 and a pile of old Kawi parts.
What Z1's are collectable, I know nothing about Z1's. A nice deal, I get everything
free if I put together a running Z1 for the kid.

thanks J Rock, I'm new to old 4 strokes. Have 4 Kawi triples so far, a 400 and 3-500's.
My fave is my 72 H1B, there is a picture or two in one of my posts in the Vintage Sport
Section here. A 750 triple would be a nice addition as well as a Z1.

I'll check back, Z1, Z1A and Z1B
mean nothing to me, yet.

Herb and Mullet Division, I like it

The Z1 was 903cc of pure muscle back in the day. A whopping 82hp. Woooo Hoooo. That was smoking back then.

Z1 - '73. First year. Start of Kawasaki Superbike heritage.
Z1A - '74
Z1B - '75 Last year of the Z. Became KZ in 76.

I would give my left nut to have a '73 with the rootbeer and orange paint scheme. I like them so much, I have badges from '73 on my ZRX

Default I can't stop

I'm up on H1's as I have a few and a few more on the way. Looks like I have found Z1A's.
Too bad no 73's. Very nice bike. A fellow tripler just sent me a photo of his 77 1000, man did he do a nice job on it. Thanks for the help you KAW HEADS. I used to think I had a OLDKAWI problem, now I think it may be a disease. I can't stop, is there an institution I can can check into before I Kaw myself to death? Aw well, it's not so bad

I don't think those were a superbike. Kawi was primarily making 2 strokes already. From a 250 on up. They made the first triple 500 in '69. Just kept making them bigger. When Honda came out with the 750 inline 4in '69, that changed motorcycles. Kawi wanted to make a 750 inline 4. Since Honda beat them, the big wigs told the designers to build something better. The Z1 was born. The Z1 changed motorcycles.
