Chuck, the Deej is exactly right. Why put your bike away? I ride my ZX-9 to temps in the teens. Using your bike helps keep fluids and charging system parts happy, and will maintain/sharpen your skills.
Get out there, man!

Agreed. Luckily with our klx's, we can not only ride the roads but the trails as well. Mine does two jobs for me. I dont have the warmest gear yet, my electric gloves finally crapped out on me so I need to get new ones and thinkin of electric other stuff too. I would atleast just ride yer bike around the block or somethin, get it warmed up then put her up for awhile.

How low can you go? Scorpion XDR Commander jacket, Mountain Hardware Bazuka gloves. This morning it was 23 degrees. Really not too bad, other than some manageable fogging on face shield.
What's YOUR Winter story??

I dont mind ridin in the cold BUT what did me in was I rode my 05 636r ninja early in the mornin. It was 13f out and as I was turnin out my driveway onto the paved rode my front end came out from under me. Too frosty out. If its 32f or colder, I dont ride anymore. Dont want to take that chance again. Atleast my klx is more forgiving when and IF I ever lay it over. I have been caught in 2 big snows on my 01 ZX6r and the 05 6r. Was not fun but made it home. The 01 had so much snow packed up in the front intake on the fairing that it wouldnt idle anymore.
