Default Why is Kawasaki better?

Here is the dilemma. I have 2 buddies who ride bikes. One has a 99 R6 the other has a 98 CBR F4? I'm a bit fudgy on the CBR date but they bolth think they're bikes are the ****. Neither have inverted forks or fuel injection the CBR has just one long seat (which looks super gay) and I need to shut these guys up. R6 boy keeps telling me that his bike is worth more then mine and this and that.

So lets here it. why is a Kawi better then a Honda or Yamaha?

Your friend is obviously not good in the math department.
Let's think about this: He has a '99 and you have an '06, and his is worth more???

The CBR may be a bit more smooth (that's just a personal courtesy vote to Honda), the R6 may be a bit more "edgy," but I'd give the vote to you because yours is newer, more hp, more technology, and you'd have the advantage on them at the track because of this.

Oh, and did I mention.......
Because it's a KAWASAKI ??

Better for what? Acceleration? Braking? Handling? Road racing? Drag Strip? Cruising? Commuting? Sport touring? Maintence and upkeep?

Performance wise your bike should be near the top in most categories but it depends on what you want out of a bike. Comparing an 04 to a 98 and 99 is one thing, compare a 04 kawasaki to an 04 honda and yamaha and it will be different.

Hey I've got a 99 zx-6r and it's still a fasty. More tech doesn't necessarily = faster. Maybe better gas mileage and more efficient, sure. How fast you go is all a matter of how much money you want to spend, not how high tech or new something is.

I have the same bike as you duece, and I agree to a point, but we would have to spend much more money because the newer bikes come with a lot of go-fasters that we have to get aftermarket. Carmi, those guys are jealous because they dont have kawasakis
