Default Who sells Aftermarket Brake hardware?

I just got my Bike inspected, 2001 Ninja 250EX, and they said my FRONT brake disc is warped, and my back brake pad is worn down. Kawasaki wants 300 dollars for a new front brake disc, and I think that's too much.

Where can I get a cheaper one??

I guess a 250 may need it after 7yrs. Not sure. That just seems wierd to me for being so soon. You after oem or aftermarket? I would throw a dial indicator against that disk just for s and grins.

you could always check it your self by holding a strait edge of metaly or wood against your rotor in a bunch of different angles and it will let you know if it's worped or not before you go and buy a new one.

Well Pete's Cycle said that the bike failed inspection because of the warped front brake disc, so im pretty much boned and I have to replace it weather its warped or not. I think I found a few websites, looking at paying for 160 for an aftermarket disc.

Just do ebay or craigs list then. $70 or cheaper most likely.

when you hit the front brake, does the front end dive and feel jerky as your coming to a stop ? i had a dealership tell me my bran new not even scrubbed in disk was warped. trust me, if your rotor was warped, you would feel it. if you indeed need a replacement, look on e bay.
