Default where to get mecury refill

For my carb sync tool. When I moved in June, the wife grabbed it off the moving truck not knowing that it had to be held upright. So the mecury ended up all over the floor of the Budget truck.

First off, you should DEFINITELY make sure to alert Budget about the spilled mercury. Mercury, as you probably know is an extremely dangerous and toxic substance, and must be properly cleaned off the truck bed. Now for the part you don't want to hear. I was told by a motorcycle mechanic a few months ago that by '07, mercury will be considered a controlled substance meaning the average joe will no longer be able to get their paws on it.

As of right now, you have less than ten hours to find some mercury before '07!

Never mind. I just checked a bunch of the major motorcycle outlets to find they have already taken all mercury tools and accessories off the market.

That would be the right thing to do but you would get hit with huge charges for the clean up and testing of the vehicle for traces of any mercury left.

You would probably need to send the tester back to the manufacture for repair.

Explain to your wife to be more careful, the hazard of mercury and that the repair cost that you will incur will have to come out of her next birthday gift or 2. lol

Yeah, I'm sure you're right about the costs of a mercury cleanup. It would make you have a bad day for sure. At least spraying down the truck bed would help. Make sure no mercury got on any clothing, or anything else that you handle often.

BTW: I love the new signature Notstock!

As of 4 months ago with CA banning mercury products, I was not able to buy regular thermostats for HVAC/R so looks like finding/repairs are mute on the sync tool.
