Video: Verdandi Concept Motorcycle
This project, that started at Chalmers University in Gothenburg, intended to investigate why fewer women than men ride motorcycles, and what can be done to attract female users and customers to the motorcycle market.
The majority of motorcycle models are poorly adjusted to women, and those which are not commonly lack the easy rider attitude that is often sought after by women as well as men. This project intended to change this trend, in designing a vehicle that is practical and conscious without compromising its modern biker expression.
The result was a full-scale model, displaying novel design qualities and conceptual solutions within areas that women particularly emphasized in the studies; namely safety, low environmental impact, comfort and ergonomics, storage and identity.

Men ride motorcycles to prove that they risk their lives and not get injured. This proves to women that they are mentally fit. Women are attracted to this because men who ride motorcycles have an increase in status over other men.

Verdandi is an electric-powered chopper designed by automotive designer Michael Hallgren and two students from the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden: Anton Grammatikas and Viktor Berglin. A lot of interesting motorcycle concepts seem to be coming out of universities these days, and this is the latest and it comes from Chalmers University in Gothenburg. The idea behind the Verdandi project was to investigate why fewer women than men ride motorcycles, and what can be done to attract female users and customers to the motorcycle market.

It needs an extra central mirror for applying makeup and a secure holder for cosmetics.
Mounts for two cell 'phones and a coffee dispenser would complete the package.
For the rest of us, maybe add a radar asissted anti collision system?
And I'm not a misogynist - or at least not all the time.
As for electric bikes in general, love the idea, but not until I can get a 200 mile range at 90 mph plus cruising speed, and a five minute re-charge.
