Default Upgrading from a 600

Lets say someone learned rly quickly on a 600 and wanted to upgrade for more power. What cc would make the most sense? a 750 is basically a heavy 600. i would think a 900 with a little engine work would be best? Im not a fan of anything over a 1000.

On a side note, does anyone know the horsepower of each model? (600, 750, 900, 1k, 12, 14)

hmm, I like my zx7 and the 10r. Personnally was thinking about setting up a 6r or maybe a 250cc ride. Not that the 7 or the 10 is not meeting my expectations. But tires are spendy!

stock hp think the 7 is listed at 112 and the 10r at 175. That is listed and may not be actual hp numbers for ya.

with the newer 600's most people will never been able to get the bikes full potential out of them. That being said. If some one wanted somthing better there really isn't a whole lot out there. The only one still making 750's is suzuki. A lot of people see 600 as being on par with the older 750's. If you look at the specs hp wise a lot of newer 600 make 120+ hp. If i ever wanted somthing more I would go stright to a litre bike from my 636.

Ducati of course is making the 749. The biggest advantage of both the gixxer 750 and the zx7 is the handling. nothing else can carve as hard and as confidently as either of those. My 98 ZX9 is 143 hp.

I have heard on good authority that the zx7 will be coming back for 08, along with some other manufacturers as well.
