Track day pics, finally
Sup KF bros and sis's,
Here our some pics from my track day on January 22 at California Speedway.
My pit and the one behind me. Tire warmers worked great it was the first time I used them and will never leave home with out them. Tires are Michelin power race 2, frnt pressure 31psi and rear 21psi. Conditions were 65 degrees clear and quite windy as the day progressed.
That is my son with his ride.

RE: Track day pics, finally
Couple of shoots by the photographer, wants 150.00 for the jepegs so I just used the proofs. I still do not have a knee down.
The ama course has 20 turns and a exciting front straight, I hit the front at about 150 mph. The rear is cool as hell too, full throttle through turn 10 in 3rd. and up to 4th then hard *** braking and into 2nd to get around 12. link to track info http://www.fastrackriders.com/pages2...ama_track.html
You really have to appreciate the AMA guys talent after ridding the same track.

RE: Track day pics, finally
In the end it was a great day with only a couple of delays, one from a rider down in level 3 riders and one for a lost oil plug in level 1 where I was ridding. I saw the oil and dam glad I did not get in it. Took over an hour to clean it up and we all lost a session.
On my last session when I came in noticed a fluid leak and found I lost my oil filler cap. Nit to bad but lucky I did not f-up the track or cause my self to wreck. Guess it pays to safety wire your bike, mine will be next time for sure. If it had of happened on the first run I would have been done for the day, did not have an extra cap.
Hope fully will get in a few more this year and want to try Willow Springs.
