Generally an OK list, I guess. I would not recommend the KTM or the Ducati primarily for operating cost and/or parts replacement, but they certainly ARE very nice bikes. My experience tells me that a "better" choice for a beginner bike, is one of the "gently-used" variety, and probably with a minimum of body plastic to replace. Inexperience inevitably leads to boo-boos. Learn your basic chops on a nice "beater," spend your pennies on gear, and look for a 600-750-1000 down the road. My two cents....
