i paid almost $250 for my 190 pirelli diablo.. i got a lil bit of a discount cuz i whined, that knocked it down to about $230ish, i think.
fronts are $120-180 usually..
mount and balance runs from $5-35 depending on shop size
tire disposal fee is also a usual..
this shyte ain't chep..lol

I've actually got a second set of wheels for my bike so i'm thinking about putting touring tires on the other set since most of my riding is just commuting to work. also makes sense if i'm going to be making these long trips.
speaking of... anybody have experience with continental tires? i can get a set of these for 200+mounting and balancing.
