OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why did I click that link? Oh yea because its good to see stuff like that once in a while to remind all of us why we need the gear and to ridesafe. Thanks Prom.

 

I just took these pics about 45 seconds ago, look into a pair of ICON field armor "chukkas" there confy, offer desent protection and cost about the same as a good pair of work boots. luckily im in my office today and can sport the riding gear while im here. i also have the field armor street boots that go higher up the leg and offer even more support and those are great too for the canyon blasts and long rides but the chukkas are easier to get around in all day.

 

Wow, you have small feet, ha-ha. Ankle surgery is long and painful to come back from. There's so many small bones that all break at once. After all the pins removed, some stay there for support. After awhile the pins slide down through the bone and have to be removed years later after agonizing daily pain. [:@]

 

Thanks for this post! I bought a new full face Shoei helmet, an Icon Daytona jacket and a pair of Icon Pursuit gloves for my new bike. I've been trying to figure out what for shoes and was considering wearing my high top basketball shoes as I wanted something to cover my ankles but be really comfy. Change of mind!!!! I think I'll look into those Icon boots!!

 

Yeah that's funny... I was looking into boots last night, and I actually liked the Chukka's the most. Good to read about someone who has them and likes them, I need something that I can be comfortable in all day.

 

Here's mine, I think I wore them twice off road. I like my camo boots better.



These are better for dual purpose. Water proof, and comfy.

 

squirrel, heres another side by side comparo. the field armors are comfy too but the chukkas are better for all day comfort. both great street boots.
